Process Engineer II
Job brief
Role Overview
As a Process Engineer, you will lead impactful engineering projects and play a key role in improving manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and regulatory compliance. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive innovation in a regulated, aseptic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead multiple small-to-medium projects and cross-functional team activities
• Assist in installation, commissioning, and start-up of new equipment and systems
• Perform engineering studies, proof of concepts, and commissioning reports
• Conduct technical troubleshooting and implement solutions for new and existing systems
• Support manufacturing operations through process improvements and issue resolution
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on projects and product lines
• Develop and execute commissioning activities and test batches
• Provide technical training to manufacturing and maintenance teams
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices
• Develop solutions to engineering challenges and optimize system performance
Impact & Innovation
• Drive improvements in aseptic manufacturing processes, safety, and materials
• Work with suppliers and subject matter experts to implement industry best practices
• Improve operational efficiency through data-driven engineering studies and process optimization
• Present project outcomes and technical insights to with direct stake holders.
Preferred Experience
- Regulated industry or clean room
- Simple to medium complex Project Management
- Microsoft Project
- Lean and Six Sigma manufacturing tools
- HVAC systems
- Basic AutoCAD
Additional Responsibilities
• Work with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure regulatory compliance
• Interpret and improve operating procedures and policies
• Support production through training and technical oversight
• Manage project budgets and capital expenditures
Work Environment & Expectations
• Full-time, on-site role with occasional travel
• Work in a regulated environment requiring strong attention to detail
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
Requirements
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, or similar)
• 2–4 years of hands-on engineering experience
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
• Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments
