Position Summary
The Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Developer will support and maintain our POMSnet Aquilla MES solution. This role is responsible for data population, system configuration, recipe authoring, integration development, documentation, troubleshooting, testing, and ongoing support. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of MES solutions, preferably POMSnet, along with solid programming skills, a good understanding of ERP systems, and effective communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed functional knowledge of the POMS MES solution, including configuration and deployment.
- Use required SQL and C# skills to support MES development and data maintenance.
- Develop knowledge of Telerik report design and other related applications as needed.
- Gather and document business, operational, compliance, and integration requirements from subject matter experts and stakeholders across departments.
- Support system validation requirements and applicable industry regulations, including FDA and cGMP standards, within pharmaceutical and other regulated environments.
- Learn Stallergenes Greer manufacturing processes and translate them into POMSnet electronic recipes and work instructions.
- Configure and model POMSnet data, including item master data, bill of materials, and work order parts lists.
- Diagnose and resolve complex system issues and adjust configurations to improve system performance.
- Troubleshoot application issues and assist users in resolving system-related problems.
- Handle POMS MES-related help desk tickets and provide timely support for user issues and service requests.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience, including 2 or more years working with MES applications
- Required knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Required programming experience in C#
- Experience with .NET or JavaScript is a plus
- General understanding of network design and cloud architecture principles such as AWS and Azure is a plus
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries is preferred
- Experience with the software development life cycle for validated systems is preferred
